EVANGELIST DENISE JOHNSON, MAPM
Pastor Michael Johnson is a native of Birmingham Alabama. In 1988 God started Pastor Johnson’s ministry at the Normandie Ave SDA Church in Los Angeles California. In 1991 he graduated from the Griggs University in Tacoma Park Maryland in which he received his credentials for Conference/Bible Instructing and the work of Evangelism. He studied for his Bachelors in Theology/Church Leadership at Oakwood University, and he is a graduate of Andrews University receiving his Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and the work of Evangelism. His is now studying at Liberty University for his DMin for Church Planting and the work of Evangelism.
From 1992 to present Pastor Johnson has had the privilege of serving in the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as Lay and Associate Pastor of several Churches. He is presently the Senior Pastor at the Pasadena SDA Church in Pasadena California.
Since 2005 Pastor Johnson has served on the Southern California Conference Global Evangelism Training Staff, and Evangelism Committees. He served on the Pacific Union ASI Board of Directors as the Southern California Conference Representative giving guidance and support to conference endorsed self-supporting ministries in the work of evangelism. In addition, he is currently serving on the Executive Committee and Administrative Staff of the Pacific Union Conference Bible Instructors’ Guild, giving support in the work of Evangelism.
Pastor Johnson has conducted numerous Evangelistic campaigns, baptizing many souls into the kingdom of God. Today Pastor/Evangelist Johnson is known as the founder and Speaker/Director of End Times Like These Ministries which trains and Equips God's People For A Finished Work; and sets up Churches into year-round Community Evangelistic Centers.
End Times Like These Ministries also conducts Week of Prayers, Revivals, Revelation Seminars, Evangelistic Reaping Meetings; Medical Missionary Trainings, Youth Discipleship & Retreat Conferences in addition to Literature Evangelist Trainings. To date there are numerous churches that have been trained and over 600+ Lay Evangelists and Bible Workers, which has led to the recording of 1,500+ baptisms since 1992 throughout the Pacific Union Conference and North American Division.
Pastor Johnson has one wife, R. Denise Johnson, who’s The Co-Director of End Times Like These Ministries. They have 4 children and one grandson. Most of all Pastor Johnson only wishes to be known as a sincere and consecrated servant of God, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which is his constant prayer.
Denise Johnson is a native of Los Angeles and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She began a new walk with Christ and His Church in 1997 when she returned after being in a far country for 20+ years. She immediately became the youth ministries leader of the Valley Crossroads SDA Church in Pacoima. Upon meeting Michael in 2001, they were married in 2002 and immediately combined spiritual gifts and evangelistic tools to develop the evangelistic training ministry, End Times Like These Ministries, Inc. A year prior to meeting Michael, in 2000, she was blessed to become employed by the Voice of Prophecy Radio Broadcast ministry, working in the Bible School as a Bible Instructor until VOP moved to Colorado in 2014. This move allowed her to work fulltime with her husband in their self-supporting ministry. Denise has acquired a Masters in Adult Education from University of Phoenix and a Masters in Pastoral Ministries from Andrews University. Denise is blessed and honored to work alongside her husband, Pastor Michael Johnson as they equip God's people for a finished work as well as love, nurture, and lead others to a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
